  Debt Technologies was founded in 2004 by Chris Thompson and Colin Walker as a joint enterprise combining their broad knowledge of the Debt Recovery industry, computer programming and web technologies.

Background Chris Thompson has been providing solutions for the Debt Recovery industry since 1989 when he developed the first Haldon System/4 application to manage the pending Community Charge Liability Orders. Since then he has created several subsequent recovery platforms and bespoke applications for companies across the UK.

Colin Walker has spent more than 20 years as a professional accountant gaining extensive knowledge in financial and IT matters. His expertise in Web and Database technologies have been key in the creation of the online platform we now use for our Ethos software.
